Innovation Meets Customization Build your way

Customized price sheet creation
The IBO team can help generate a modern, up-to-date price sheet. It can be easily be modified or synchronized with IBO in order to keep your pricing current.

Import existing Data/Tables

For companies that already have certain data tables created, whether they are static or dynamic tables, it is often feasible for us to utilize or clone those tables in order to save time/costs and decrease setup timelines. Good examples are header and/or footing tables, existing price sheets, automated formulas, etc.

1:1 Dedicated Support + Customization

IBO was developed because other ‘off-the-shelf’ programs generically designed for the masses fell short of many client needs. It was realized early on and engrained into our mission and DNA that we would always aim to provide 1:1 support and offer customization so that builders could work with a team backed by an experienced builder/business owner and work towards getting program outputs and functionality to work the way they want.

Materials List
The materials list itemizes each material needed for the building project. It includes a quantity, description, cost, hours to install, tax code, vendor code, etc. Descriptions are tailored for company needs. Calculations for materials and unique methods can be customized over time to match specific building methods used by individual companies. IBO is already equipped to support popular post frame construction methods, but it is always a point of focus to continuously improve and offer more standard options with increased accuracy. Subcontractor tables populate separately below the building shell materials list and also can be customized. Multiple markup methods are available. Up to two separate buildings can be figured within one file for more complex structures. With time, this number will increase so that highly complex projects can be figured with increased fluidity and accuracy. IBO supports nearly any typical post frame component including but not limited to: a variety of sizes, column spacings and framing methods, overhangs/wainscot/gutter/etc, up to three unique porches/awnings per building, doors/windows/cupolas, and concrete floors to name a few. All items within the materials list can be easily edited to get a precise materials list during the manual review process.
3D Renderings

IBO uses advanced code to generate 3D renderings for a variety of building styles and configurations. Three different lighting modes are available. Users can easily generate JPEGs at any angle to show clients. Renderings can be exported to Sketchup if manual edits that are not currently supported by automation need to be made. Once a JPEG is created, it will be used in the project’s preview screen.

Consolidated Order Forms
IBO has advanced functionality to generate order forms that are ready to send to vendors. Materials are consolidated into single line-items. Lumber can be arranged from shortest-to-longest or longest-to-shortest, whichever the user prefers. It can also be separated into various loads for larger projects or for projects that the user does not wish to order/send all material at one time.
Time Logging
IBO offers the ability for crew members to log their time using mobile devices using the TPT (Time and Progress Tracker) extension. Each night the following data syncs to the job file: crew worker names, hours, times, work performed, and issues experienced on the job. Others can login into the job, go to the Man Hours selection under the Main Menu to view this data. TPT supports various categories for logging time besides just work performed on jobsites. This includes examples such as vacation, unbillable hours (cleaning trucks or facility for example), bereavement, training, etc. All data can be exported and sent to a payroll department or third party for processing crew payroll.
Efficiency Tracking
IBO allots a certain number of hours to complete a job. As time is logged against the job and progress checked off, it computes hours ahead (or behind) and projects hours remaining on a daily basis. This data can be synchronized to an external dashboard where supervisors/operations managers/others can view every job in progress and evaluate how each is performing. Margins, hours, etc. are highly visible as things change from day to day.
Google Maps/GPS
IBO interfaces w/ Google maps to locate jobsites and calculate milage accurately. Milage is calculated for crew time, delivery from suppliers, stay-aways, and subcontractor mileage fees.
Account Statement & Invoices
A statement showing the contract amount, change orders, and payments received on the project. The user is able to have instant access to key information and is able to generate invoices using a template the program provides.
Subcontractor Quote Forms
If your company has standard pricing from subcontractors, we can work with you to create an estimate that will accurately reflect their quote and show how the data was calculated. The figures will be automatically pulled into the project and reflected (often with markup added) on the client proposal.
Subcontractor Statements
Every subcontractor on the project will have one dedicated subcontractor statement that will show the subcontractor contact information, quote amount, subcontract amount, change orders, paid invoice records, and balance remaining. General contracting on any project can get very complex, and it’s important to always keep subcontract amounts, change orders, payments made and balances due straight. This information is also critical for calculating WiP. IBO is able to aid the company to be able to do this successfully.
Schedule of Values
For companies or projects that utilize a schedule of values to control payment schedules for projects in order to positively manage cash flow. The schedule of values is set up to interact with the client proposal for more advanced users.
Classic vs. Divisional Output Option
Classic mode divides contractors into two separate categories – Typical and Non-Typical, each with their own unique project management fee. Divisional output is similar to AIA divisional representation of project costs.
Post-Construction Review Summary Form
A brief summary of the project showing the initial contract, changes, final outcome/hours invested, crew worker names, percentage ahead/behind and profit gain/fade.
Commission Data Exports
Data exported for processing commissions such as salesperson name, base building revenue, subcontractor revenue, and records if the commissions have been paid.
Project Data Exports
Large amounts of data can be exported from IBO, which can be used to develop charts/graphs/tables for performance meetings/reports. Almost any imaginable data point can be represented. Examples are names of sales/supervisors/foreman, project location, information about the client, market segment, revenue, costs, margins, and so forth – the list is virtually endless!
WiP Report Data
Critical for growing construction companies to accurately measure and track Work in Progress. IBO helps ease the burden and complexity by exporting large amounts of data into a comprehensive table showing information such as total contract, total projected costs, costs to-date, etc. This data can be used by accounting departments to measure the true profit earned in any given time period once the WiP adjustment is made in the accounting software (such as Sage or Quickbooks).
